This Week Bible Study : Overcoming Your Fear

Dear friends,

I believe each of us faced fear and insecurities in every moment of our lives. Where does fear comes from, do you know? We feel afraid of things that we cannot control, cannot grab , cannot estimate. We are afraid of things that are not under our control. We can be afraid of future, creepy insects/animals ( most probably girls) , rejection and etc.

How did the Bible respond to fear? The bible says, there is no fear in love, and fear are a trap for us. Fear traps our souls, our minds, and our free-willed that is being given by God. Fear also separates us from God's love.

What should we do ? We need to overcome, pray to Jesus, he WILL help you. Next, list down all the things you fear on a piece of paper. After finished writing, tear into pieces and throw onto the floor. Next, step on the shattered pieces of paper, and loudly proclaimed that I HAD OVERCOME. Pick up the paper, and throw away ( symbolising throwing away your fear ).

读经：

诗篇139篇1节： 耶和华阿、你已经鉴察我、认识我。

撒母耳记上16章7节： 耶和华却对撒母耳说、不要看他的外貌和他身材高大、我不拣选他、因为耶和华不像人看人、人是看外貌、耶和华是看内心。

信息： 

我们都很希望有一个人可以完全的了解自己，但是我们无法找到这样的一个人。既或，是我们最亲近的人，仍然有不了解我们的时候。

你认为谁是最了解你的人？他们也会有不理解的时候吗？

我们是否了解我们自己呢？有时，连我们自己，都不能够完全的了解我们自己。

但是神了解我们。人在还没有认识一个人之前，就选择以自己的眼光去判定一个人。然而，神并不如此。祂以我们的心来判定一个人。

虽然，有时我们无法感受到神的同在，甚至也不认为神了解我们，然而，神却早已明白我们的心，甚至是我们还没有做的一举一动。

你曾否怀疑神是否真的如此了解你？是什么情况，使你怀疑呢？

人有四大感受，就是喜乐、忧伤、愤怒和惧怕。我们每个人都会面对着4种的情绪。愿当我们面对这4种情况的时候，我们都用下列的经文来作为安慰和鼓励。

• 喜乐： 然而我要因耶和华欢欣、因救我的神喜乐（哈巴谷书3章18节）
• 忧伤：喜乐的心乃是良药。忧伤的灵、使骨枯干（ 箴言17章22节）
• 愤怒：当止住怒气、离开忿怒。不要心怀不平、以致作恶。（诗篇37篇8节）
• 惧怕：因为　神赐给我们、不是胆怯的心、乃是刚强、仁爱、谨守的心。（提摩太后书1章7节）

我的祷告： 亲爱的主耶稣，谢谢袮如此的了解我。求你帮助我，让我也能感受到袮的同在，也帮助我了解袮的心。谢谢袮主耶稣，奉主耶稣基督的名祷告，阿们！

为青年祷告：第二周

“ 少年人哪，你在幼年时当快乐。在幼年的日子，使你的心欢畅，行你心所愿行的，看你眼所爱看的；却要知道，为着一切的事，神必审问你 ” 【传道书11章9节】

这一代的青少年普遍现象是追求享受人生，为心中所爱而生存。我们对于这样的人生态度深觉讶异及忧虑。我们应如何帮助他们看见生命的价值、人生的意义，以致有一天当他们面对神的审问时能坦然无惧。

反思、行动与祈求

在这崇尚物质主义及追求即时满足的时代，求主帮助青少年过真实且独立的属灵生活。

我会如何教导青少年？

华人教会普遍少提及哲学、世界观：我们教会是否也忽略这方面的教导？为我们有智慧设计合适的课程祷告，好能增加青少年这方面的知识。

当我要解答青少年艰涩的信仰问题时，我会恐惧吗？如何克服？在教会里我有哪些机会帮助青少年？

在教会这个安全的环境中，我们是否鼓励青少年提出疑问？甚至容许他们质疑自己的信仰？祈求主引导更多弟兄姐妹一同带领青少年成长，帮助他们面对信仰上的困惑。

结语：

亲爱的读者，让我们在这个星期反思自己在面对信仰的态度，准备随时为青少年信仰上的疑问随时解答， 悔改我们没有把握当下给青少年最好的教育 ， 带领青少年在信仰走上一层楼。

Prayer for youths ~ First Week

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws. 【Psalms 119 : 105-106】

" Your word is a lamp to my feet, a light on my path " are verses that we are familiar of. However, the most important thing is to obey the truth , and to keep God's word , and keep ourselves holy. May we all take an oath and confirmed it like the psalmist.

Reflect , Action , Prayer

We all need to keep ourselves away from distractions and uncleanness that affects our relationship with God. Which area am I weak and easy to fall into sin ? From today onwards, I am willing to lean on God's grace to keep ourselves holy and away from worldly desires , to please God . Will you?

Nowadays, youth are facing many temptations such as Internet , Modern Music , Television Programs and Movies . May the Lord grant them Daniel's courage and ambition , the faith and determination to live a life of holiness , and strongly believe that God will make them surpass others , receive God's grace and help.

May the Lord helps us, to advice teenagers with God's love to offer themselves as a living sacrifices, hearts being renewed , and to be shaped by God.

为青年祷告：第一周

你的话是我脚前的灯，是我路上的光。袮公义的典章，我曾起誓遵守，我必按誓而行。【诗119：105-106】

“你的话是我脚前的灯，是我路上的光”。 这是我们耳熟能详的经文，然而，更重要的是遵守所信的真理、立定志向要持守神的话、保守自己的圣洁。愿我们对神的话也有如诗人一样的心志：起誓遵行，按誓而行。

反思 、 行动 与祈求

我们都需要立志不容任何事物使我们犯罪及玷污自己，以致影响我们与神的关系。我在哪方面较为软弱，使我容易陷在罪里？我愿靠主的恩典今天就下定决心，保守自己不染世俗，好叫我主喜悦吗？

今天的青少年面对从多方的诱惑，如网路、流行音乐、电视节目及电影。恳求主赐他们有但以理的勇敢与志向，有立志过圣洁生活的决心及信心，不肯被世俗同化；并且深信神会使我们在人前蒙恩会、得帮助。

求主帮助我们，使我们能得以神的慈悲劝青少年将身体献上当作活祭、更新心意，并让神来陶造。

愿神赐福你们！

Pray 40 days for youth launch today

Good Morning ！

Today, we are going to upload a 40 weeks prayer for Youths which is extracted from the book "Pray 40 days for youth in church ". For more details ,please visit http://www.Pray40days.com , however the site is in english.

For these coming 40 weeks, each week we will be repeating the same prayer. I would also encourage, if readers could pick one day out of a week to fast and pray.
